What We Do
Elevating Minds, Empowering Communities

Faith Leaders & Mental Wellness
At Dumas R.I.S.E. Providers, we recognize that faith leaders are often the first line of support in communities of color. You provide guidance, counseling, and comfort to those who may never step into a clinical setting, making you essential partners in mental health care.
We also understand the importance of ensuring you have a safe space to restore, rejuvenate, and find reprieve. As you pour into others, we are committed to pouring into you—offering the support and resources needed to sustain your well-being while you continue uplifting your community.

YOU FACE CHALLENGES IN
Understanding how to provide culturally informed services to communities of color. There’s often a need for qualified professionals to educate your staff on these matters. As a mental health professional of color, you might feel isolated, lacking access to the resources and connections needed to thrive. This can lead to burnout and a struggle to advance professionally.
Internally, you may experience anxiety and frustration about how to offer culturally informed mental health services. Questions like “What does it mean to be culturally informed?” and “Where do I start?” can be overwhelming.
In the current climate, mental health strain is at an all-time high. There is a pressing need for intentional care, both for yourself and in supporting others. You want to engage in open, accepting conversations without fear of offense, creating a comfortable atmosphere for growth and understanding.
