As an African American woman and a Christian therapist, I bring a unique perspective and deep understanding to my work with clients. I am passionate about supporting children, teens, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and socio-economic statuses as they navigate life’s challenges.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Canisius College, where I built a strong foundation in psychology and human development. I then pursued my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Medaille University, where I honed my skills in working with individuals, couples, and families of all dynamics. My educational journey and life experiences have equipped me to offer compassionate, culturally responsive care that is grounded in both evidence-based practices and Christian principles.

I have a particular passion for working with individuals and families navigating complex relational challenges, including communication struggles, parenting, and overcoming self-esteem issues. Whether helping children and teens process emotions, guiding couples to deepen their connection, or fostering healing within families, my goal is to empower clients to achieve meaningful and lasting change.

I am dedicated to walking alongside clients to help them strengthen their relationships, build resilience, and find hope in the midst of life’s challenges.

What motivates me? I have three main motivators.

1. God; The desires He placed within me to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, for people to learn the greatness of who He is.
2. My husband; he is my safe place, my role model, and my greatest cheerleader.
3. My children; they are such a beautiful reflection of God’s love and trust in me, who give me reasons to smile every day.

What’s your secret power? Being authentically who God created me to be in every situation.
What is your secret talent? I can bake really good cookies.
What’s your favorite self-care practice? I love to walk and listen to sermons when I feel overwhelmed. When I just need to relax, I love sitting on my couch with a warm cup of tea, under a blanket and watch a good show.
